A Dream Deferred

March 28, 2022 Robin

A post about still trying to figure it out.   Marvel Comics was born after Stan Lee had already been writing and editing comic books for 40 years.  JK Rowling was 36 when Harry Potter was first published. Viola Davis didn’t receive her big break until she was 43.  And it took the legendary Toni Morrison… Continue reading A Dream Deferred

Finally getting to my lazy Sunday! A day in the life behind the scenes of #girlscout cookie season. I still have more packages to pick up. What a day! What a performance! What a time spent with my girls! We had so much fun at the @sixustour in Ft Myers today. I had first heard of #six on thanksgiving 2021 when the cast performed on the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade but did not really fall in love with it until these two kept playing the soundtrack and replaying it over and over during the summer and into the fall. I decided to gift them tickets for Christmas. Best money I’ve spent in a long time! To see their eyes light up when the queens hit the stage and for them to see women like @stormlever who look like them command a stage. This show was nothing short of amazing. The performances were breathtaking and powerful. My girls were inspired. Hell I am inspired. The magic of the theater. The wonder of musical theater. It leaves you inspired and wanting to go back home and do something amazing. Cause I’m the Queen of the Castle… Welcome to the Haus!!!! Grew up in the French court… Newest read has commenced. #spookyreads #bookstagram #bookcollector #reading #booklover #books #homeoffice #homedecor #spookydecor I don’t know if you’ve noticed it or not but there seems to be alot of shows and movies coming out that have to do with ghosts. From Darby and the Dead to We Have a Ghost to Not Dead Yet, everyone who’s anyone is hoping on the ghost train. Can’t blame them though. Ghosts are fascinating creatures but people seem to have different ideas of what they can or can’t do. That’s where this post comes in. Because I have nothing else better to do than to analyze ghost lore and rules, I present to you, well Analyzing Ghost Lore and Rules. Just a little bit of research.
